Boards and Commissions

Roland embraces the Statutory Town Form of Government, overseen by a dedicated Board of Trustees. Comprising five trustees, each nominated by ward and elected at large, they collectively serve as the governing body for the Town of Roland, Roland Utility Authority, and the Roland Development Authority.

Within the Board of Trustees, a mayor is elected from its members. This election takes place every odd-numbered year during the initial board meeting held after trustee terms commence, or as promptly thereafter as feasible. Regular monthly meetings convene at the Roland Administration Building on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. Here, the Board collaborates to address matters crucial to the town's well-being and development.
